I've a blog at http://www.puttingblogsfirst.com and have been blogging at it for about 6 months (since NOV/DEC 07). It's a blog giving tips on how to become a more effective blogger.

I know this is a very saturated field, but I try to be a little different from the rest by approaching my posts from a unique and different point of view. For example, I almost always start with a story, which helps to attract the reader towards the post and makes him/her understand it better.

Also, I worked hard on it to get to an Alexa rank of about 400,000 from in the millions, but had to stop blogging for about three months(O'Levels were just around the corner), and in that time, it dropped :(. And so did my readership, but now I'm back and working to get even more readers and higher rankings…
