Welcome to the community Dean, I checked out your blog and liked it a lot. One thing that I would like to point out is that you should make the email subscription form on the top right of your site functional. When I tried to subscibe, WordPress did a search for my email address. I think the theme designer must have put the search form there instead of a feedburner email subscription form. I would look into that if I were you.

@Patrick DeVivo, thanks for pointing that out. I recently finished creating my own theme (very minimalist) and it's now what I'm using for the blog. I'd forgotten about the email subscription form, though — I will add that right now.
