Hello Everyone,

My website “Bahraini Sari Sari” is a Bi-cultural blog where the best and worst of my two worlds (bahrain and the Phillipines) are both merged into one.

Not many people will know this but the word “Sari Sari” according to the wonderful open site of wikipedia:

“is an important economic and social location in a Filipino community. It is present in almost all neighborhoods, sometimes even in every street. The word sari-sari is Tagalog for “various kinds” …..

“The sari-sari store offers a place where people can meet. The benches provided in front of the store are usually full of men and women. Some men would spend some time drinking while women discuss the latest local news. Youths also use the place to hang out. Children would also rest here in the afternoon after playing and buy soft drinks and snacks.“

Therefore I hope that you guys can stop by blog. I vow to blog atleast twice a week and upload pictures where the world can see into the sight of a youth in Bahrain and the Middle east as a whole.

Many think that we arabs live in tents and ride camels. That is totally not what my blog is about and it is about anything and everything that relates to Arabian and Pinoy and youth.
