Young Bloggers Need More Niches

It seems that all the blogs today run by young bloggers are either about making money online or technology. I’ve seen a couple about Photoshop and web development, but that seems to be about it. Isn’t there anything else young bloggers like to blog about? I even think that young bloggers have an advantage over “regular” bloggers because they have an “extra niche”. Anyone can make a blog about web development, but add the tagline Tutorials by a thirteen year old blogger and people get interested.

So why is it that there are so few young bloggers blogging about things other than how to make money online and technology. It’s probably because that is mostly what young bloggers are interested in.

There probably are a number of personal and edublogs run by young people, but they are just so hard to find because they don’t usually do well. Hopefully those bloggers will find their way to this network so we can all discuss.
